All Things Golden

​Woohoo! Awards season is here, I love this time of year. Not so much for the awards, because they can be kind of  boring. Ricky Gervais hosted the Golden Globes last night and was definitely not a bore. I love awards season for the fashion.  The red carpet of the Golden Globes displayed a bevvy of beautiful people dressed in beautiful clothing. Here are some of my favourite ladies who came up golden on the red carpet.  

​Winner for Best actress in a drama, Brie Larson wore this stunning gold Calvin Klein gown, which boasted cut outs, halter neckline and an open back.  She looked like a Golden Globe in this gorgeous gold number. Metallics seemed to be popular on the red carpet, and Brie did metallics right. Her look was my fav! Just spectacular

​Best actress nominee in a drama, Alicia Vikander wore a chic white Louis Vuitton dress. She looked pretty, elegant and sleek.  This white haute look was beautiful, her makeup and hair were simple and classy. 

​Jennifer Lawrence is always a favourite of mine both as an actress and with what she wears. She wore a fabulous red Dior gown featuring cutouts paired with gorgeous Chopard Jewelry and a stunning statement necklace, an updo and a matching red lip. She won Best Actress in a Comedy for her role in Joy. 

​Jennifer Lopez stunned in this mustard yellow dress by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture, Jimmy Choo shoes and 200 karats of Harry Winston diamonds. I mean, seriously? How is it that she’s 46 and looks this great?! Love J-Lo. 

​Rosie Huntington- Whiteley looked remarkable in this gold piece of perfection by Saint Laurent. She’s proof that minimal makeup and beach waves can look gorgeous when you’re wearing the right dress!
